Tabitha Stubbs, RN BScN BA
Tabitha Stubbs is the Director General, Veteran Services and Branch Management with Veterans Affairs Canada; and Vice Chair of the APEX Board of Directors. Elected to the APEX Board of Directors in 2022, she has served as Vice-Chair since 2023.
In her 25 year career with VAC Tabitha has worked as a Nurse, Case Manager, Veteran Service Team Manager, Area Director, Director of Transition and Program Support and was most recently the Chief of Staff to the Deputy Minister and the Corporate Secretary for the department.
Tabitha is dedicated to serving Veterans and their families and has served most of her career in Service Delivery, focusing directly on Veteran wellbeing.
Tabitha is passionate about leadership development, and employee well-being. She is a certified life and wellness coach, a Certified Reinvention Practitioner and Certified Change Management practitioner.
In 2020 she was awarded the Robert Cormier Leadership award for mental health and in 2019 the Workplace Wellbeing leadership award.
